Carnival Liberty (April 2023)

 CARNIVAL LIBERTY

3-NIGHT BAHAMAS CRUISE

04/21/2023: Port Canaveral, Florida

04/22/2023: Nassau, Bahamas

04/23/2023: Sea Day

04/24/2023: Port Canaveral, Florida

Just another cruise in the books for us. It's been a short-time since getting off Celebrity Apex and Liberty was right around the corner. Already being on this ship and this class several times, the layout is one of the most familiar one's for us. Last time I did get sick from the Deli, so that is one place I tried to stay far away from that.

Really wasn't a bad cruise overall, most importantly it was relaxing. The entire vibe of the ship was just that. Everyone was having a great time and enjoying everything on the ship. We took the time to just relax, take some pictures and videos and try to maximize our time, which was a bit short.

Overall a fun and relaxing cruise. Wouldn't mind coming back a third time.

DECK 1

Stateroom 1339 (Interior Stateroom)

On this trip we took it easy and stuck to a simple interior stateroom. As always it get's the job done.

DECK 3

Venetian Palace Theatre

One of the best features on the Conquest Class is their main theatre, always a very relaxing venue. Here we saw America Rocks, which we've seen before. It was a decent show, pretty enjoyable. Other than that you will find your traditional bingo and other games/shows here.

Guest Services Desk

Any issues or concerns throughout your voyage you can visit the Guest Services desk.

Shore Excursions Desk

Across from Guest Services is the Shore Excursions desk.

Flower's Lobby & Lobby Bar ($$$)

When first entering the ship you come right into the Flower's Lobby. Lot's of music and games throughout the cruise. Another relaxing spot on the ship.

Golden Olympian Restaurant (Complementary)

Our dinner dining menu was in this dining room. Overall good service and food. Standard Carnival. Like I said this was a relaxing cruise throughout. Really good experience.

Silver Olympian Restaurant (Complementary)

In the aft is the Silver Olympian Restaurant. Here we had breakfast. Again another standard Carnival staple, decent service and food.

DECK 4

Antiquarian Library

On deck for in the Lobby area is a library, here you can get a quiet spot close to the action but quiet enough to enjoy a book or play some board games.

Photo Gallery

All photo's taken from the crew will be located to view at the photo gallery. They also offer options of cameras, photo albums and other items for purchase.

Circle C (12 - 14 Years Old)

One of the kid center's on the ship.

The Cabinet Bar ($$$)

I've always said this area was very under utilized on any of the Conquest Class ships for Carnival. Mainly used as a lounge with a bar at night, mainly empty the rest of the time.

DECK 5

The Fun Shops

On deck 5 of the atrium, you will find all of the shops on board. From candy to jewelry, to shirts and liquor, all in this location.

Cherry on Top ($$$)

Speaking of that candy you were searching for. Cherry on Top has you covered like chocolate on strawberries for that sweet tooth.

Skybox Sports Bar ($$$)

Right in between the casino and atrium is the SkyBox Sport's Bar. Usually opened at night, but a great spot to getaway from either the casino or atrium and kick back and watch some of the sporting events on tv.

Czar's Palace Casino & Casino Bar ($$$)

Here is the casino on board Liberty. Hate seeing that they added more machines to the promenade, taking away space there. Isn't much, but still.

The Promenade

Speaking of the promenade, here is our favorite spot on the ship. Sit back, have a drink or a cup of coffee and just watch people walk back and forth. We always love this area on the Conquest ship class.

Internet Café ($$$)

Also on the promenade is the internet cafe. Here you can surf the internet (for a fee) as well as print off any needed documents.

Jardin Cafe ($$$)

This is the coffee shop on board. A little tip that Carnival has done forever is they offer a card that if you purchase a certain amount of drinks (coffee and shakes) you get one free. Which we usually do once or twice during the cruise.

Without Batteries Video Arcade ($$$)

Here is the arcade on Liberty. Not too bad in size. One day we will have to play a bit. I mean we're already losing hundreds in the casino so what's another $20?!?

Hot & Cool Nightclub

I think out of all the cruises we've done, we've been to the nightclub with Carnival maybe 2 or 3 times. Just really isn't a place we enjoy that much. It does get busy later on at night. Always having themed nights. Not many other lines do this at all, so take advantage.

Alchemy Bar ($$$)

One place we've been two maybe once or twice and we always saw we have to try again is the Alchemy Bar. The drinks are usually the best looking out of the other bars, offering up different options. Next time for sure! I promise!

The Stage Bar ($$$)

The Stage Bar is right near the back of the ship on deck 5. Used for several events throughout the cruise, mainly karaoke.

Piano Man Bar ($$$)

As we continue to head to the back of the ship is the Piano Man Bar, which is the Piano Bar on Liberty. We came here one of the nights and stayed for a bit listening to music. Starting to become a favorite for us on any cruise.

Victoria Aft Lounge

At the very back you will come to the Victoria Aft Lounge, which is used for some games during the day, but comedy at night. One of the larger comedy lounges at sea, other than a theatre. Never had trouble getting in and getting a seat. It's hit or miss on every cruise for some reason, even the same ship, very weird. Comedy was very enjoyable this cruise.

DECK 9

Tivoli Pool

Heading up to Lido we come to the Tivoli Pool, here you have a couple of hot tubs up the stairs, another smaller pool a deck or two up. Also several spots to eat, including the buffet. The pools are usually packed on sea days. We suggest coming either early on a sea day, during port days or even at night. We've been doing the night pool's and it's been great.

BlueIguana Tequila Bar ($$$)

At the pool you have two bars, the BlueIguana Tequila Bar.

RedFrog Rum Bar ($$$)

As well as the RedFrog Rum Bar.

BlueIguana Cantina (Complementary)

The cantina, offers up some tasty Mexican burritos and tacos, also a toppings bar. Breakfast and lunch, both great options.

Guy's Burger Joint (Complementary)

On the opposite side you have Guy's Burger Joint. We didn't do either of these this trip. For us we've been to these so many times. Lines get super long, especially here whenever its opened, so get here early.

Emile's Lido Restaurant (Complementary)

The buffet is right inside and spans two different sections. Felt it lacks overall compared to years past. It is very spacious, also a tip is to head upstairs (back of buffet) to grab quieter and more seating. Also BBQ is up there.

Pizzeria (Complementary)

All the way at the back you will find the pizzeria on the ship. Decent pizza, felt it used to be better in flavor. Line's are always long and it does get slow with them making anything, so be prepared to wait a bit.

Versallies Pool & Pool Bar ($$$)

The other pool is located in the very back on deck 9, this pool is usually just as crowded as the main pool.

DECK 10

Diamond's Steakhouse ($$$)

We haven't been to the steakhouse on Carnival in a bit, last time was a train wreck. However wanted to give it another shot. We overall had a great time, food was really good, hot, service good. That is the usual for Carnival's steakhouse's. Never going to be the best steak in the world, but food is going to be about a 7 or 8, service good and you're going to leave very happy and full.

DECK 11

Spa Carnival & Fitness Center

Here are some images of the spa on Liberty.

DECK 12

Serenity Deck (Complementary)

For adults (when someone actually checks) is the Serenity Deck. This is usually the most underwhelming area on the ship for us. Sunshine had the best, minus the loud waterfalls. The rest have been just a place to see bodies laying out, looking dead. Sorry, it's true. But that's what it's for, to sunbathe.

PORTS OF CALL

Nassau, Bahamas

Welcome to Nassau! They are doing a lot of construction in this port, so be on the lookout for that. Overall Nassau is going to be a must do port in the upcoming years. We find ourselves wanting to go more and more each time. This time we got off and walked around the city near the port. Then eventually headed back on.
