This was our first ever trip to Colorado, have to say from the moment we stepped off and saw the mountains in the distance to when we were going back home everywhere you looked was amazing. Overall we had an amazing vacation and can't wait to come back. One of the highlights from this trip was the Cheyenne Mountain Resort located in Colorado Springs, close to an hour and a half from Denver International Airport.

The resort is on one of the many mountains in Colorado Springs and every where you look is just a piece of America's beauty. The resort is very clean and very friendly. The have a few restaurants in the resort as well as across at the golf course. You have plenty to do and see in the local area as well. We checked out Garden of the Gods and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, which both were amazing.

At night, depending on the weather you can roast marshmallows outside at the fire pit. Not in the mood for that, take a dip in the pool, it is heated! Again this resort was one of the nicest we've ever stayed at, great location.

(Pool was clean and great for relaxing. Usually had people there day and night, this was before it had opened for the day.)

(Our amazing view from the terrace. Our room is in the building to the right of the hot tub, we were on the top floor. View of the patio area.)

(Our room was very spacious and roomy. Did hear a lot in the hallways.)

 (Bathroom vanity area.)

(Elevations Sport Bar, great menu and food was awesome. We had peanut butter and jelly wings and whiskey wings, so good! Also the truffle fries.)

(Another shot inside the bar area.)

(Here is the outside fire pit. At night it got busy here, but we found a place to sit.)

(Amazing view from the staircase near our room. Loved this place!)
